Weird Crop Movements in Baby Zebra Finch

My baby finch will hopefully be 2 weeks old tomorrow and it (referring to as it since not sure if its boy or girl) seems to be having these weird movements in its crop similar to another baby I raised last year that passed away. I want to get ahead of whatever this is to see if I can stop it in time.
The previous baby had a slow crop, weird movements like in this video, and slow development as a result. Right now, this baby's crop appears to be digesting fine for now but has the same movements with what looks like acid reflux (food comes up during these movements and it swallows it back down, sometimes it wiggles its head almost in discomfort).
Its formula consists of Lafebers Nutristart formula, Avitech Formula One, and regular water.
I have started giving medistatin in hopes that it will help. Applesauce and apple cider vinegar haven't worked. Has anyone had experience with this before while handfeeding babies? Is this crop movement normal when slow crop is not involved?
Here's a link to the video I just took (hopefully its decent quality):

Here's a link to the post I made last year about the other baby that I had the same problem with (the finch I have right now hasn't gotten to this point & im trying to avoid that):
