My female Gouldian sleeps too much

My female Gouldian looks healthy, eats well, but spends most of the time sleeping. There were just her and a male before and they were doing the mating dace with each other.
Recently I put in a new female in the cage and it created a lot of tension in the cage. Now it is better, but she is sleeping all the time.
What could be the problem?
She is a very yong bird, just changed the feathers.

Did you quarantine the new female? Could it be that the new bird brought something into the flock?

Hope things turn around soon

I did but for short time. The new bird was too hyper trying very hard to get into the cage with the others, so I gave in :(

Molt can cause stress as well as a new bird. I hope that is all it is but it's usually not a good sign when they sleep a lot.
Quarantine is very important to prevent parasites and/or illness entering your flock.

All the best

It is not molt as she just got her colours. This new bird has messed up the harmony in the cage is a fact.
