Who do you handle needing to paint walls in your home and keeping the finches safe from the paint fumes?

I have no idea but was wondering the same thing,I have one blue wall in my bird room and wish I would of painted it white, now flight cages all together and would be a nightmare to get finches out of those cages and cages will not fit thru doorway.I hope you get some input on this subject :?:

Hi ladies, I am not sure about paint, but I need to shampoo the rugs in two rooms of my house soon and am going to put my two canaries in a room with the door closed and maybe put an air cleaner in there. I do not know if this helps you, but I do not know of any other way to do it and sometimes stuff just has to get done [-o<

That is a really good idea with the air cleaner I wonder if that would work if you had to paint with the birds in the room,I always buy walmart latex paint but that even has a mild odor too it.Betty I'm glad I have no rugs and use a floor steamer to wash floors one of my maltese has allergies so try to be carefully with spray and cleaner for her and birds

I buy no voc paint. It is odourless and safe for birds. My Quaker parrot is ten and this is all we have used for years.
