Cracked beak?

Post by IsleofFlyingFinches » Sat Dec 31, 2016 4:36 pm

I just noticed that one of my zebra finches has a small crack in his beak. There aren't any missing pieces, it isn't bleeding, there's just a crack on one side. He's still eating normally . Will he be okay if I just leave his beak alone and let it regrow by itself or does he need to see a vet?

As long as he is eating ok, he should be alright. It could be just an outer surface crack or scratch. I would leave it alone.
