Hmm beak turning blue (society finch)

So I have a ginger society finch with v cross marking not sure the name of its colour however it has got blue coming on its beak like it’s beak has changed colour like when they are chicks and you see there beak changing from black to white

It’s only half way through the top part of beak

Could this be a vitamin difinshes
They are in the window so get loads of sun light and I feed them daily salad and bits of egg

There is an excellent book (the best available) about Benegalese. Called "The Benegalese Finch" It shows colors, correct names for colors, and beak color for each variety. You have to order via email, and send a check to Europe to get one. Well worth the money.

wilkifam well I’ve noticed it starting on the female aswell and not sure if it can be maturity because the male is quite old atleast a year I’m just worried it’s an infection
