Can a zebra hen lay twin eggs
That what happened under my eyes.
This the story: yesterday morning before i go work, i checked the nest of my isabels no egg was there, but i figured out that the hen was puffy, isuspect egg binding, checked its belly and figure out that egg will be laied today, anyway i removed her from that breeding cage and put her under heat bulbe for more than 24 hours. This afternoon i put her back and the male try to mate but she wont and both go a head to catch after few minute the male was outside, i checked what. happening and i catch the hen on action but there was not one but two eggs, believe me there was no eggs in that nest before. Is this possible. Should i be concerned, any advise ?

Re: Can a zebra hen ?
I believe it is possible for a hen to lay two eggs. But it is definitely not very common. If she was under a heat bulb for 24 hrs this could possibly have helped to cause it?
