ONE LEGGED ZEBRA CHICK trying to walk

So I got him out today to check on his leg and it’s obvious it’s not going to get better as shown in the video below the only thing am hoping is that when he actually fledges he will be able to use his wings as balance

He’s also got very affectionate with me and instead of running to the foster parents he instead ran to me and and tried to tweet at me

lovezebs Yh he’s getting better I keep letting him have a walk

And his leg is facing the right direction and they’re must be blood flowing through because his nails are growing but they’re is still a black ring around where the bedding was caught

Hi Fraser,

Check very carefully around that black area, (use a magnifying glass if you have to) to see if there isn't a bit of string, a hair, or a fragment of something embedded in the flesh.

I really hope he will heal nicely.

lovezebs I have added a closeup picture on another post called is this leg infected my dad is saying it’s infected because the toes are swollen but his nails are growing so there must still be blood going through

What would u suggest to treat it i keep bathing him in iodine water will this help ???
