Fledgling Month Old Sleeping

Post by Dbearden » Wed May 23, 2018 6:48 pm

Gouldian is approximately a month old and fully feathered and flying well and eating well on its own. However last couple of days I notice its head tucked throughout the day sleeping. Wondering why???

Is the baby always puffed up and inactive during those days? If so, it might be sick. More description of symptoms is needed to determine the exact cause of this.
Have a nice day!

Maybe he's just tired and needs more rest.

Try and count how many times it sleeps. If most of the day is spent sleeping then it is sick.
Have a nice day!

Maybe it's nocturnal and sleeps during the day.
