Oasis 80070 Alive and Well, Stress Preventative & Pro-Biotic Tablets for Birds

Found this on Amazon. Is this good for finches or only parrot type birds?

I wouldn't use it. Just feed your birds right and take good care of them. Stay away from additives. Most of this stuff has chemicals in it that would do more harm than good.

I agree with wildbird. A good finch mix, then also offer a mineral mix, some chopped fresh veggies, and some eggfood (either commercial or homemade) will offer a good balanced diet for your birds.

Thank you

Since the birds are new, that is why I was thinking of something to help with the trsnsition to new home and new cagemates, especially since not all the society finches get along. The dominant male society picks on the younger male pretty bad, knocking him off the perch and chasing him around and the poor fellow can't even fly. I wish I had gotten zebra finches instead.

I started giving them some food with egg included bit that seems to have put them in breeding mode which hasn't helped.

My canary tonight decided to sleep in the food auto feeder attached to the cage door which doesn't even have enough space for her.
