Hoarse voice after eating seeds

One of my finches always gets a hoarse voice after eating seeds. He is 2 months old, was hand reared with formula and then soaked seeds/millet when he started to refuse the formula. The problem started when he started eating soaked seeds/millet.

He now eats non-soaked seeds/millet. I thought the problem would solve itself as he got a bit older but a month later it still happens. The hoarseness goes within an hour. Can anyone please advise me on any causes and how to solve it?

Maybe try feeding him pellets? If he can't eat seed without going hoarse then that will have a huge impact on his development. Maybe try a different brand of seed as well.

I think it's sorted itself out as he is older and his voice is stronger now and sounding like his father a bit.
