Finch Obsessed with Mirror?

Post by CathyCraftz » Sat Dec 08, 2018 10:57 pm

I gave my lone zebra finch a mirror to keep her company, but now she is so 'obsessed' with it that I rarely see her eat, but she is still active and loud. What should I do?
Have a nice day!
Sincerely, Cathy

CathyCraftz

Take out the mirror and get her a companion.

Zebra Finches in particular, and Finches in general do not do well on their own.

Good advise from above poster.

Your finch will get ill if it stops eating or drinking enough, spending too much time with the mirror.

Anyway, zebra finches are so common to get and very inexpensive, there is not really any reason not to get her a friend. You can get another female if you don't want to them to breed.
