Gouldian mid-line in chest

Post by catherlee » Mon Dec 31, 2018 4:37 pm

Hello everyone! This is a young female Gouldian, and she is acting healthy. I'm a bird novice and have never seen this sort of line in the feathers on a chest before. I don't want to handle her, I think it would give her a fright.

Does anyone know what this line is? Will it fill in eventually? What does it mean?

I don't know what it is or what it means but I have two perfectly happy year old white breasted hens with that midline groove. Mine were the only ones of these I've ever seen until you posted yours.
