Silverbill chick finally fledged

So third attempt lucky this pair of silverbills have managed to raise a chick I took the other eggs out for society’s to raise however these didn’t hatch so the pair only ended up with one chick

It’s got beautiful colouring tho here she is below

My silver bills are nesting again, waiting to find out if they are fertile or not. Fingers crossed.

Hyansith one pair had 5 but they usually toss the chicks so I moved them into a society nest and then this pair that raised this one has 7 but I removed 5 and put them in another society nest now I wish I left them all in with this pair

Do you have any pics of the parents? Would love to see them. Also, how to you tell a male from a female?

Hyansith to be honest I’m quite new to silverbills but the males will sing quite frequent not only when breeding but they like to just sing all day whereas the females just stay very quite

And yeah I have a picture of them as a collective I’ll circle out the parents

Thanks I love this pair my other pair that don’t raise there chicks just had more eggs so I’ve gave them to some new society’s and these are managing to feed yhem
