Possible Air Sac Mite case for zebra finch

Hi everyone
one of my female finches has gotten the symptoms of air sac mites. and i am using the oxytetracycline which i previously had prescribed by vet for respiratory infections, for her treatment, but i am getting concerned because her beak color from the nose area is getting a darker color like purplish.
she eats and moves around the cage. but is always puffed up and sleeping.
should i be concerned about her beak color change?
PS. some of the finches i lost previously have had their beaks color change this way before.
