Hi everyone. Recently I noticed that some of my zebra finches have sort of a swollen abdomen...some have a small ball shaped swollen lower abdomen and some have their entire abdomen swollen...in such cases even their veins or their intestines are visible.
They don't seem sick or anything. They eat and play normally but it is definitely not normal to have a swollen abdomen for finches.

Vafa, I am sorry to say I cannot help you with your zebra finch, I tried looking up on line, but it seems as though it could be caused by a number of things. I am not that familiar with zebra finches, but maybe I can bump this post and perhaps someone with zebra knowledge can help you. Good luck with your little guy
