Molting or Ill?

I have 2 goulds that seem to be "molting" on their faces (cheeks) only - is this normal? Did I just "miss" the rest of the molt?

It possible that you did not notice the rest of it. If he's eating and flying okay and just typically acting fine - then yes he's going through a moult. I have one male finishing up a moult now too.
