Species Specific Diseases for Finches

I found this interesting article that lists diseases for different species and I copied the ones for Finches to share with you.
I didn't realize that there were so many ailments that finches could get and this list was just the more common ones.
And that Canaries can get bumblefoot was new to me....I thought that was only for the larger parrot birds.
I did some searching on the Trichomoniasis and found this info (scroll down to the lower article unless you want to read about sick pigs...lol.). Pretty technical stuff but interesting.
Trichomoniasis Article (it continues on page 617...just click on the page number at the end of the article).
Then I looked up Campylobacteriosis as I didn't know what that was either and found this very interesting and controversial article about Gouldian Finch Farm Breeding which near the end of the article in red letters briefly touched on this disease. And the second link which discusses this disease a little more. Some of you bird experts probably already know all this stuff but I just had to share!

Well...my brain is full for now...no more researching until my brain is rested up.
