I started the S76 treatment today with my Gouldians. I was wondering if anybody else has used this treatment before? What was the response if any from the birds, do they seem to get worse before they get better, does it take the full 2day for three weeks to see a difference, have you treated nesting parents with this, so forth and so on???

Did you use an antibiotic for any secondhand infection when the treatment was done?

Only one bird showed signs of this but where all of the birds cages were in contact with each other and the condition of them was so dirty when I brought them home I figured that I had better treat all 7.

Really I have only used as a preventive,with good results my birds don't have it somone else will be able to give you a better answer

I have being using it for 2 years, but only to prevent air sac mites.

Your birds should not have any problems with this though if you follow the directions on the little bottle. Be sure to do a follow up with the medication. They will not need antibiotics. In fact I would highly recommend that you don't use them.

If you want to follow up with a probiotic I think that would be okay.

After you have cleared them up, I would treat 3-4 times a year to prevent them from getting them again.
