Champ is addapting very well-update March 2nd

He is living up to his name, and is being just that a little champ. In these pics we can see just how well he is adapting to having no feet. =D>

He looks wonderful. You would never guess he had a disability and such a rough start in life. He will do wonderfully, you'll see! :D

He is adorable and sweet . Doesn't it just touch your heart????

My little crested society is so special to me. It is amazing how they adapt so quickly. I guess they think it is the way it's suppose to be.

Donna, I am so proud of my little Champion, he will always have a special place in my heart. and I am so glad to see that rather than having the aviary adapted to his needs, he adapted to the aviary. =D>

For those that followed Champions ordeal, here are a couple of pics taken this morning, just proving that anything is possible. Champ is now getting his big boy colours and perching with the best of them. =D> =D> He's my hero. =D>

Janine,

He looks wonderful. It is amazing how well they adapt and move about. The little fawn that has the odd little toe now is upright most of the time and follows her favorite little brother around the cage like nothing is wrong, although she still isn't a strong flyer.

Glad he is doing so well for you. Please post more pictures as he he gets older.

He really looks good - adapting very well =D>

I have several that make it around with one working foot, but your guy is really special using what he has left of the one foot. It truly is amazing the trauma they will survive!
