Yesterday morning I checked the nest and there where 4 eggs, and last night there where 2 baby birds
I am so excited!

thanks. all 4 eggs are hatched as of today. the last baby was born this morning. I wish I could get a good look but the parents are being good about keeping the babies out of my sight.

my mistake, only 3 hatched, 1 was infertile egg. but the babies are a week old today and they are starting to get pin feathers and their eyes are opened!

my zebras.
the nestlings are 8-9 days old now and looking very good. mom and dad are being great parents to them. Looks like i have 2 cfw and 1 gray from their skin and pin feather colors.

Congrats tina!!
I have 5 baby black cheeks as we speak too! Mine are 10 days old. They hatched while I was on vacation. The lady who was looking after them is so delighted to have gotten to see baby birds born. She comes over regularly to see how far they've grown. hee hee
