Colors of baby zebra's

Post by mea » Sun Apr 27, 2008 3:14 pm

Hi everyone!,
Well I have 2 baby zabra finches, about 10 days old. The one is grayish but the other one is pure white! Can anyone tell me if that's the way some zebra's are born, do they change color as they get older? Any info would be appreciated. Mea

if the baby is all white most likely he/she may be all white as and adult.
is one of the parents white? if not it couldve been past on throught the genes. i know i have 5 hatchlings and the mother is all cinnamon and the father is normal, but i have 2 that are cinnamon, 2 normal and the other one looks like it has 2 colors coming through.

Thanks for the info. The mom and Dad are normal looking zebras, black, white, gray. This baby is pure white! Mea
