My Zebra finch has eggs do they need to bathe more than usual? By they, I mean the parents.

Zebras seem to have an easier time of it than other species. The waxbills that I raise get daily baths. Their eggs need moisture, so if the birds can bathe daily, they then go back in the nest with damp/wet feathers, and moisten the eggs. This is especially helpful if you keep your birds in air conditioning, or you live in a dry climate. In the wintertime, with supplemental heat in the birdroom, I run a humidifier, as well.

I guess its diffret for me then. it is real humid where i stay and i guess that helps. But thatnk for the info sally because im gonna start letting them have baths everyday. i just check 3 nest with a total of 17 eggs and there all fertile. I think they should be hatching by next weekend. More babies, and by then theothers should start leaving the nest.
