I have some cordon blues that have been spending the night in the nest for the past week. Does this mean i'm going to have eggs soon. If so i'm staying away from them.

Could be. Are they scarfing down the mealworms?

Are they sitting in the daytime, too? Sometimes it is hard to tell, as some of mine will come out of the nest as soon as I enter the room, so I'm thinking they aren't sitting, then they surprise me. Try to give them as much privacy as possible.
