i am trying to find out when the 2nd set of eggs will come after the 1st set but i am taking the eggs as they lay them i got 3 birds i am try to breed with the right male.
in a day
1 1st bird laid 1,1,1,1,1,1,0,1,1,1
2 2nd bird laid 1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,0,1,1,
3 3rd bird laid 1,1,1,1,1,1,1,

so with the 0 then the 1 is that the new set of eggs

I'm new to finches, but chickens will lay one egg each day for several days, then skip a day, then begin laying one egg each day again.

A laying chicken hen takes about 26 hours for the process of the follicle entering the infundibulum through the completion of the egg shell, therefore they cannot logistically lay one egg per day every day.

It's very common for finches to lay their clutch one each day. However, it's not uncommon for them to miss a day and then continue laying the rest of the clutch so I wouldn't consider that to be a new clutch.
