I wonder if they sing less when they are actually breeding. Mine are all in the bird room, and it is hard to pick out individual singing, between the hens doing their little song, and the males singing. The males in color sing like crazy, as do the ones without color, but maybe they are trying to attract mates (and the males are in a male-only flight).

I don't know, but he started singing again this morning. But I found no egg today.
