I remember when Hermione was that little, and had the nickname 'Jaws'...she was quite the little eater ;D

I hear she's being a very good Mama...but she has my society hen to thank for that, not Luna (though Luna has turned into a fabulous Mama too!). Luna tossed her at first and she ended up being raised by my societs from less than a week old on.

I've FINALLY got my new pair laying eggs, the buggers. So hopefully soon I'll be sharing pics too!

Hermione has been a great mama, and Luna too! I have been so lucky! My friends bird aren't so good. They had four babies last time and never fed them. They threw one out but they all died. Maybe just inexperience. Maybe Hermiones mate Ron Weasley taught her what to do.

Hermione has a little trouble flying due to her wing issue. I have installed a ladder up to the nest box. Once she gets up on a perch or where ever she's good.

I got a pair of the yellow back ones... (dilute or pastel) I forget what they call them. I hope they breed one day.
