Yesterday the canaries took three hand-feedings between 6 AM and 8 PM. Today, only Blossom wanted anything first thing in the morning - just one bite - and then none were interested in the formula for the rest of the day, preferring to eat entirely on their own and putting away several platefuls of grated vegetables and chopped boiled egg throughout the day. Though they can't totally handle hard food yet, they are fully self-feeding now.
It has been four weeks exactly since I took them on, and I believe my work is now done.
The amount of change in so short a time is still remarkable to me, even after seeing the process so many times.
