lovezebs The little guy is full of feathers and started stretching his wings , I recorded him he is pretty goofy xD , he started flapping his wings like he wanted to fly .
I wanted to ask a question as I haven't cleaned the canary cage ever since she layed the first egg because I didn't want to disturb them , I wanted to clean the cage and put new wood carvings inside and maybe even in the nest I don't know if I should do it , the cage is pretty dirty though poop all over the floor of the cage , any suggestion?

Here are the videos
1st video is a few days ago if not 2 days ago

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KwasD7h6oGE&t=3s

2nd video is captured today , its amazing how fast they grow , like I notice the difference when i wake up and when i go to sleep when i check on him I see size , feather and behavior differences

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GujNY2y ... e=youtu.be

I don't know if I should give them carrot mixed with hard boiled egg , a breeder that sold me the male canary told me to mix up and make some kind of egg food , although i prefer giving them each thing separately so that they can choose what they want to give it to him .

I have noticed something on the male canary though , the area where his wings begin has a little orage/red spot on both sides of his body , I am wondering is he some kind of red factor canary and if i give him carrots will he turn orange xD I am not really familiar with these things xD
