Go to the site I mentioned above and try it yourself.

Doing it is the only way you are going to learn.

Could you explain the visual color of your male. I'm not sure I understand a SFb. Is he white, yellow or blue in color?

A WB.SF Pastel Blue is visually a white bodied bird.
If this is the case then because the hen is PB, you could expect:
RH/BH.PB/WB.SF Pastel Blue (visually blue bodied) male
RH/BH.PB/WB.Blue (visually blue bodied) male
BH.PB/WB.Pastel Blue hen (visually white bodied) hen
BH.PB/WB.Blue hen (visually blue bodied) hen

Hi
Debbi , yes he looks white. Thank you all for the input. I have toyed with the reverse calculator as well. I have have very good luck with my green backs but this is my first pair of "odd" colored birds. So I am excited they are so beautiful and its a wonderful hobby for me. I am really hoping to be successful with them.

On another topic.....is it better to breed in a colony situation? I only have one hair of greenbacks in with Owls and they bred very well among the Owls as every one was peaceful.

Thanks again!

If you want to breed for a specific color offspring, you have to breed single pair in a cage.

In a colony breeding situation you have NO control over how the birds pair up and mate. Worse, you could have inbreeding.

When I go to set up a pair to mate, I look at 2 things.

#1 - The color combination of individual birds to get the desired color offspring. Example I will target RH-WB-YB, so I choose the birds that will give me this color offspring.

#2 - Who the parents and sometimes grandparents are, to prevent inbreeding. With a small breeding flock half of my birds are related, so I have to be careful.
