", he bullies her out @ 8:04 and @ 8:11 you see dad pulling the chick out." He carries the chick straight into the camera and he dumps it."

Dad was introduced and mom distressed ....she guarded so much I feel it was best to remove him and let her continue with her kids.

Not so much a disappointment. She is an excellent and dedicated hen.

He's a fertile male and fine "egg sitter". But these two were not meant to be.

Looking forward to seeing her kids fledge.

Easy has a new mate (Stormy) (her kids from this thread are weaned! yay!) Easy did a good job without her tossing mate.

I then placed her in the 5 foot adult cage and she was still in breeding mode and chose Storm right away. His last mate would NOT sit on eggs for two seasons. He was ready, attentive and anxious to have a new family. His mate was not. So after season two ( I dont think season 3 would be a good idea), Stormy's old mate was placed with another gouldian to be a part of an aviary ( I gave her away pretty much). Hopefully the free flight will help her.

I posted another thread about the gouldians to come. Easy and Stormy are a HIT! And I have a good feeling about these two. Very excited, as his SF Silver will really reveal what genes she may have hidden.
