i have 2 sets of zebras setting on eggs the first pair layed egg # 5 on wednesday. the 2nd pair layed egg # 5 friday. so how long does it take the eggs to hatch.
and my society have 4 babys they are 17 day old. it looks like i will have 3 crest and 1 noncrest how long before they leave the nest.

Zebras take 12-14 days to hatch (from when they start to incubate). Societies fledge at around 3 weeks (19-25 days old). Check out the Finch Information Center on this site - there is a LOT of great info about raising these little guys! Don't you love the crested?
