eggs

please help me....i had 9 eggs with my zebras...some were laid in late march so i assume they are not fertile....today they tossed 2 eggs out..one was broke and the inside just looked like gooey stuff...the other egg i put back in the nest......i threw away the broken egg...my question is....what do i do with eggs that never hatch??????

I just throw mine away. You can always shine a flashlight against them to see if they were ever fertile.

The good news is, with zebras you know they'll always lay more! :wink: Sorry about this batch. Those laid late in the month may only now be showing signs that they're fertile - it takes about a week.
