If this is their first breeding season - then yes I'd just chalk it up to experience for them.

Hi, Im still new at the whole breeding thing but this does sound normal for gouldians Im thinking. My pair have done the same laid eggs on and off for a week and so would sit for days then get off an night then on for a night then off. I thought for sure all the eggs would be rotten but have now got 4 or so healthy chicks!! Tricky little birds!

This is their second clutch. They successfully raised two from the first.

They are sitting constantly now. So we will see in about another week. :lol:
