I read that if the finch babies get tossed the quail eat them. Not to be morbid, but it would good to know for potential quail owners.

Cheers for that info Babs... I have been keep track of the Zeb nests and there doesn't seem to have been any eggs hatching (decreasing numbers of eggs) or eggs getting tossed out of the nests.

Our Finches and our poodle supply me with an never ending amount of therapy for my stress related depression. Sitting there, throwing the ball for the dog while watching the finches is the best thing ever.
