Got a bit of a surprise yesterday when I found these two... I was sure there was only one fertile egg. Anyway the parents are my bf pied male and cfw pied hen. What do you think these two will be? Bf?

Mathematically it's 50/50,at this dtage u couldn't say anything about BF, for some other mutation dominante like Grey, Fawn cheek we can say according to body and beak colors, for some recessive and sexlinked it's also ok, but for the most we shoul wait.

Okay thanks, I shall wait and see them. The last babies they had were grey or bf (they died before I could tell exactly what they were tho)

a question : those green leaves in the nest with babies are them fresh [-X leaves or dried one?!
if they are fresh that will create lot of moisture

haroun really never did I know this is it alroght to give birds dried bamboo leaves to nest with because that’s what all mine have just made there new nests with

And I’m sure green leaves indicate fresh ? Don’t they crumple up or go brown when dried

Fraza bombo leaves shoulf be ok as they don't contain lotof watet, in opposite of lettuce and so.
