Well (head scratch)....I guess this time of the year, it's better to come up against the butt end of the big guy, seeing as the front end would probably not be very friendly...(rutting season in the Fall)

The pair has their own cage...I guess I assumed it was the male because when I removed him, the female didn't toss any, but I didn't wait very long before I put the chicks in with the foster parents.
