Well I am happy to report that so far we have four eggs but I dont think she is done yet!
I peeked when they were both out of the nest - couldnt help myself

Howdy,
My finches wouldn't touch the big pieces of cuttlefish but if I pulverised it they loved it. Whacking it with a hammer is both cathartic and good for the birds

The birds now seem to eat the ground oyster shell, so that's good. I moved the cuttlebone in with the Javas and the male likes to chew on it; I'll move it back into the flight once their quarantine is over to prevent premature cross-contamination.
