How is he doing? Everyone still getting fed? Sounds like he butt- shuffled the wrong way out the exit. Silly birds.
I find it amazing that the nestlings/chicks know how to back up and poo, so they are not sitting in poo

*shudders* I show people pictures of baby Gouldians just to freak them out. Those little nodules are too freaky!

Gary,
I think it's an instinctual thing, so that they don't end up sitting in a pilebof poop.
Celeris,
Yea, I know... people's eyes get big

and you get: What are those things?
lol.

Thanks,
They shuld be popping out of the nest any day now (especially the yellows who seem a bit older than the greens).

Growing like weeds.
I'm suprised that those two yellows haven't fledged yet, but I expect we'll see them out and about very shortly. I guess they're waiting for the other three brothers from other fathers and mothers to catch up

Thanks sweetie.
Looks like parents of the three greens, have truly adopted the two yellow as well
All five are well fed and appear to be healthy and content.

Well, one adorable alien popped out of the nest just now.
I snapped a picture, and placed him back in the nest. This one, is still too little yet and needs more nest time.

The yellows are amazing!
I wish my pairs would produce some for me, so far only green and blue ones.
