Regarding the cage... what's he asking for it?

He has not responded to that question yet. It looks like that but it's not. The one he has is for sale at petco for 26 bucks and change. He wants 40 for the cage, the supplies, and the birds which he said are free. I asked how the birds are related and if they ever had eggs. no response yet. So one might be a female or there is 2 males? I hope that at least one is a female.

turns out he wants about 1500 for that aviary. told him to keep an eye out for any less expensive ones for me. you guys know where I could get one for a decent cheap price?

You'll probably have to make it. For some reason, people charge crazy prices for these furniture-like aviaries. They aren't complex, even if you want something that looks like furniture.

You can buy a PIANO for $4000, which is 50 times more complicated.
I'm not sure why an aviary would cost that much.

Ok guys. serious question but also fun statement. Fun first. I'm pretty sure I have at least one baby in the nest. there is this black and pink thing about the size of my pinky nail. Is that a baby? If so I'll get pictures as soon as I can.
Now for the questions. If a baby starts hatching does it mean there was something wrong when the mother and father fling an egg from the nest? Inside was hard looking with a mostly developed baby, dead. Is that normal for them to toss? What might have gone wrong?
