The Stars have done a great job (especially for the fact that these are foster kids, plus with them being first time parents too).

They are still feeding these two adorable munchkins, although I noticed that they are occasionally beginning to ignore the endless squawks of the eldest one. Also, I noticed the oldest fledgling, starting to peck at some food on the ground on his own. So we are begining to wean .

Thanks ladies.... however I had very little to do with it. My stellar Stars, are the ones that did it all, and they have done a wonderful job

Two little guys are almost weaned.

They are doing well, thank goodness.

They are both eating on their own now, but still mooching from Mom and Dad Stars (whom I think have a clutch of eggs in the same Canary nest where they raised the two little Owls).

Arghh, makes me want to get some Owls. They are like little stuffed animals

That's the second time you've mentioned that. Should I get on the horn with Bubba, and tell him to go nab a couple of Owls from some barn, and stuff them for you?
