As some of you may have read via my postings, I recently bred my Green Singing Finches and I have one baby in the cage with them now. If they try to breed again, will the male attack the current baby? I know they are quite territorial and aggressive when breeding so I was wondering if I need to make plans to get that baby out of there soon.

I know with Ringneck and Diamond Doves, there comes a time when the males of breeding pairs want those grown up babies OUT of the cage. This usually happens when the female is sitting on new eggs or the new babies just hatched. In both cases, I had my doves in cages rather than aviaries. But my Green Singers are only in a large cage also, so there won't be anywhere for this baby to go if his father starts getting aggressive. I guess I could throw him in with my non-breeding Gouldian pair temporarily?

I don't have green singers but I have read that they are very territorial even attacking other green and yellow colored birds of a different species! I would remove the baby for his or her own protection.
Better safe than sorry.
