Owl Fledglings!

Woohoo, my luck is finally changing. Yesterday, one Owl baby left the nest, and today the second one. I think that is it, but will try to check the nest later. I have been puzzled by these Owl parents, as I thought they had babies, and shortly before I might have seen fledglings, they tossed two tiny babies (several days apart on the tossing). Then I heard nothing from the nest, so thought that was it. Then the next day, I heard babies begging for food. I now have two parent-raised babies to join the baby that was fostered by Societies.

Maybe they have finally figured out what they are supposed to do and will be good parents in the future. For those of you who want to breed Owls, mine needed LOTS of privacy, no nest checks, and lots of eggfood.

Good to hear Sally, I have heard Owls are hard to breed. Your doing a great job if you have fledglings.
