Hi and welcome to our forum iamtones.

First question, is your hen incubating the eggs or just sitting outside the nest? Usually the hen will start incubating the eggs after the 3rd egg was laid.

If she's incubating the clutch size might only be 2 eggs, which is fine as it sometimes happens, just leave them alone to continue.

If she's not incubating, the eggs might be infertile so you can candle them to make sure. If they are infertile just remove them. It might be that the hen laid the eggs before actually mating (which for obvious reasons is useless)

No she is not incubating them... The male every once in awhile will enter the nest to check on them but incubating is not happening... I have candled the eggs aswell and no viens a showing yet... its been 6 days now since they were laid so im guessing its a bit late now...

cheers for the help!

at 6 days you should be able to see something and they should be sitting by now, Id call em BAD EGGS

Yep looks like the eggs are no good. She should of have started sitting on them but I would just leave the eggs in there for a total of 10 - 14days before removing the 2 eggs.

The Zebs might mistake the eggs for their own, but I think the time has come and gone for the eggs to be fertile.

The Zebs would probably rebuild the nest anyway.

Just check them out (the Zebs I mean) they can be pushy and aggressive when they want to mate. Make sure they don't bully the goulds.
