I think they mean business now

My society couple, that is. They had a single egg that they sat on for about 3 weeks. I figured it was a dud, and I guess they finally figured it out too because they tossed it. I think the female must have figured it out sooner, because after a couple of weeks she barely sat at all, she let her mate do nearly all the sitting. Poor thing, he was so faithful. They didn't even have any nesting material, the zebra boys kept taking it all. Anyway, I noticed the male sitting very tightly again these past couple of days. Hmm, could it be? I got a peek today, and there are 4 eggs. They even managed to snag some nesting material back from the zebra boys
. Would it be wise to get them some more nesting material? I don't want to cause a big power struggle when things seem to be peaceful right now, but they have only a thin layer. Oh, as for Miss Liberty, she seems to be very content to let her mate take the lion's share of the incubating duties. They are such funny things
.
