Why is it that there is such a large variation with gouldian incubation?
Some websites and books say 13-15, or 12-14, or 16-19, 12-13.
Anyone really know which one is correct?

if i see things like that i take the shortest to the longest so for that i would use 12 - 19 days. it doesnt hurt to keep the eggs a little longer then its suppose to take for incubation, if nothing happens after 19 days just keep it for another day or 2 before discarding them. and you can also candle them to see how far along they are in the egg.

Two different pairs of my LG's hatched their eggs on day 14 and day 16 respectively from when they started sitting tight. There's just no rules written in stone in this game.

Thanks for the replies. Just noticed that it varied so much for the Gouldian, but more consistent with the other species. If I remember correctly, today is the 13th day for the pair.
