New owner of five zebra finches....three males and two females.
Not sure who the parents are of the one egg...as they all seem to take turns in the nest.
Need advice....what do I do?
I have a smaller cage where the newbie can be moved but when do I do that or do I leave her with the five parents?
Thanks
One egg...

Thanks so much.
I've been trying to watch to see which pair goes in the nest and stays...but they seem very content to taking turns.
So far, even with the uneven mix of three males and two females, they are really happy campers and I have yet to witness any aggression. Not to say that it won't happen.
I think after the egg hatches I might be able to tell who the parents are and will put them in separate cages. Then there is the problem of where to put the lone male unless I get him a mate. lol.
