Is it fine moving the cage while there are eggs in nest? I usually bring my finches outside to get some sunlight.

Frequent moving of the cage will probably cause most finches to abandon the nest. What kind of finches? Zebras and Societies will usually go back on their nest after the cage is moved, but I wouldn't keep moving it right now. I meant to say I wouldn't move it at all right now.

Yeah I wouldn't recommend moving a cage that has eggs in it.
You could in up making them break the eggs or leave them altogether.
So I would just leave the cage in one spot.

If you have eggs its best to leave them where they are because there already comfortable and even if they did take care of they eggs and hatchlings when you moved them, they wouldn't take as good care of them as they would just left in one area. I hope that made sense, lol :)

your birds will cope without direct sunlight for the time it takes them to raise any chicks to the fledgling stage (hope you get lucky here).
as the others have said it is best not to move the cage at all if it can be avoided

I would strongly recommend NOT moving the cage while there are eggs in the nest.

I did move mine (took less than 30 seconds to move it with the parents in the cage) and the parents abandoned the nest immediately. :(
