silverbill has fledged!

Post by dfcauley » Wed Jun 18, 2008 7:36 pm

Here is the first of three baby silverbills that have fledged today.
Too cute! They are little replicas of their parents for sure.
Mom is watching closely from the tree.
This is baby trying out the swing. They are not colorful birds, but elegant and beautiful just the same.
As you can see the shaftail is very interested in the new addition to the aviary.

It is an African Silverbill. They are great little birds. Very sweet.

Great looking babies! Very healthy looking, too. Congrats!

And congrats, jamezyboo, on your Zebra fledglings. It is always so exciting to see them finally leave the nest.
