well.. im not sure if this is in the rite place so uh..just post some really great things that happened.ok my achievement i bred my first white diamond dove!

When I was 5 I drew a picture of a rabbit and got 3 gold stars!

Seriously, any day I go home without buying new birds is an achievement according to my wife.

As for bird keeping I had a pair of BCCB parent raise a clutch during the winter in an open aviary which I think is right up there.

Good for you!

I'm just starting but I've had 2 clutches of Zebras, the second clutch just fledged. I have a clutch of Societies now and my Goulds are preparing their first nest. I can't wait to see the results.
Oh and my Zebras are one white female and one regular oranged cheeked dad...they had 3 regular colored and one fawn.

1O clutches of zebra finches and now my societies are sitting on fertile eggs and my goulds, bronze wings, and stars have now built nest and could possibly have eggs in them since they are all starting to get very protective of there nests and not letting anyone near them.

I agree. I have learned so much here and am loosing less birds now. At the present, all are healthy.
