Sometimes the biosphere speaks to us in gentle ways, like a nudge....a signal we usually ignor, but through the creatures She has created she coaxes us.....She reminds us of the connection we all share sometimes when we touch a leaf, or watch the wind blow the leaves (when we are paying attention) or watch the rain in slow-motion ...... sometimes in the Ether we see a glimmer of those moments in our finches we all raise that wipe the tears from our eyes and opens up our eyes to the starlit sky and like moths to a flame we are just so captivated we lift the veil from our eyes and everything all at once explodes we a see all the stars in the skies at once and our heart opens up and we cry and we smile ......and we understand.

Suddenly every makes SENSE. I had a moment tonight when Bri let me scratch her neck. She didnt flinch or run out )like she usually does, she wasnt scared. She KNEW I was there just look, and to help if needed. She enjoyed my scratches and petting and after she let me get a good picture of her kids.

Elana, she was telling me sooooooo much more. Such a tiny creature teaching me so much about the Universe in a split moment of trust.

I have to admit, that I learned how to use a hand gun , when I was eight . A light .22 rifle, when I was somewhat older. A shot gun however, has never really interested me. The only thing I've ever shot with a shot gun, is my Dad's bedroom floor (but that's another story altogether...).
